Although it's named "Key", it isn't part of the Keys, it's actually a barrier island made from sand that's eroded from the Appalachian Mountains, carried to the coast by rivers, and then moved south by coastal currents. Points of Interest Include: Biscayne Bay, Cape Florida, Calusa Park, Crandon Park, Hurricane Harbor, Miami Seaquarium, NOAA Library, and Virginia Key.
